General information:
More than 60 Lithuanian vocational training institutions offer formal vocational training programmes at qualification levels 2-4.
Vocational programmes are designed for students aged 14+. Students under 16 years of age can choose formal vocational training programmes taught in combination with the general education programme.
Vocational training starts with initial training, which leads to the first qualification. In addition to the qualification, you can acquire lower secondary (basic) or secondary education.
However, if you want to study for a second qualification or to upgrade the qualification you already have you can take a further vocational training programme.

Competitive score:
The competitive score is the arithmetic mean of the grades in all subjects recorded in the document certifying learning achievements, which are converted into the Lithuanian grading scale.

Competition list:
The competition lists for admissions to state-funded and non-state-funded places in vocational education and training are drawn up in descending order of the students’ competitive scores.
